Uploading for Instagram (Non-Square Video)

Recently I upload my video to instagram:
<previous video has been deleted>

but, I noticed the video playback is not smooth. I upload to Youtube for comparison:

Two most noticeable problem:
- a blank spot between 00:03 - 00:04
- missing scene at 00:11-00:12

I rendered using Mainconcept MVC/AVC, Internet Youtube 720p settings (25p), copy to my smartphone, and let the instagram app doing it's work.

Is it instagram app's problem, Sony Vegas' Mainconcept MP4 incompatibility, or complex scenes causing this?

The other video I ever upload, using the same workflow:

I Googled "instagram video specifications" and got quite a few hits including this. I would match those resolutions in what you upload them. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they change everything to 29.97p. Maybe you can watch your video on the Instagram web interface and try to retrieve the video from your browser cache (or use a download app) and see what specs Mediainfo shows for resolution and fps, then match those in what you upload.

Hi Nick, thank you for the response.

I finally just FOUND the issue, and it is totally weird. I never thought that a device can be an issue. Previously I upload from my older phone (while not sure if this was caused by a hardware limitation or wrong rooting process (Android Lenovo s920)), any settings, any resolution, all problematic (even have readjust all settings to 640x360 29.97p 64kbps 44.1KHz), but trying reupload with my newer phone (Meizu M2 Note), reupload the same 720-25p source, results the smooth one.

I would assume the app processing, file preparation would be the same to all smartphone gadget.
