URGENT! Audio randomly cuts off in Sony vegas pro 11 (32 bits)

Yesterday I downloaded Sonyvegaspro 11, but when i tried to use it i noticed the audio randomly cuts off every 2 seconds. I use OS X as a operating system.

Everytime i opened a new project and put in audios they just randomly cut off, i don't know what to do and i have to finish the project in 4 days oh god please help

Within OS X, how are you running Vegas? Bootcamp? Parallels? VMWare? etc.

Try converting your mp3 files to WAV. There are free converters for Windows available like fre:ac, LameXP, But maybe better you use a converter for Mac such as this. iTunes might even be able to do it.
