Using Adobe after Effects with Vegas Pro 19

I've been using After Effect CS 5 to create a simple stroke animation by rendering it as a lostless avi file and then using handbrake to create a 4k video. I just upgraded After Effects to "After Effect 2024" and now if I render a file with the same settings, handbrake just hangs. If I use the "H264-Match Rendering Settings 1.5mbps" settings, Vegas Pro won't recognize the video format. I get the media offline message. However, if I run it through handbrake it will convert it and then will work in Vegas. My question is, what settings should I use in After Effects that will create a file that I can use directly in Vegas Pro?

What choice to you have from After Effects? What about MagicYUV? https://www.magicyuv.com/

You don't need to go thru handbrake to make a file compatible for Vegas Pro. After Effects 2024 has many output formats that sits quite well with Vegas..... You also have the additional option of using Voukoder or MagicYUV within after effects for even more compatibility.

I found the problem - I wasn't waiting long enough after I added it to the timeline for it to build a proxy version.
