I have a 17" Toshiba Qosmio laptop with 1920x1080 screen with NVDIA Gforce card. When I open Vegas 12, the splash screen opens normally, then about half way through opening up, as Vegas is saying, "installing GPU-accelerated video processing" the splash screen shrinks. Then when the program finally opens, the layout window does not fill the laptop screen, the layout is screwed up, the menu bar font is distorted as if out of scale. The program simply doesn't start right.
I then have to maximize the screen with the upper right maximizing button, but that first click only centers the undersized window in the larger screen, Clicking Maximize again allows the screen to be filled, but the menus are still distorted and the layout is screwed up, like it can't remember its layout. I have to press "default layout" every time I start.
Any ideas?
