V9 64-bit - Did the HDV reader get updated?

Sony introduced an improved HDV reader in 32-bit Vegas Pro 8.0c. This improved codec was not included in 64-bit 8.1, which pre-dated 8.0c and never got updated.

Can anyone confirm that the improved HDV reader is now included in 64-bit Vegas Pro 9? I can't check myself because I've only got 32-bit XP at the moment.

Nick,

I'm running Vista/64 V9/64 without problems with HDV(Split) files which had problems in 8.0b before and was fixed in 8.0c.

Thanks Gidi. Can you, or anyone, confirm that in 64-bit Vegas Pro 9 there are no repeat frames at the beginning or end of HDV files dropped on the timeline? If I remember rightly, the old reader in 8.0b (and presumably in 8.1) left a duplicate frame or 2 at the end of each HDV event. I had to run a script to trim them a little.

Just want to make sure as this may well be the deciding factor on whether I upgrade or not.

Apologies for the bump.

Anyone in a position to check this for me pls? Also that there are no black frames etc. with HDV in V9/64-bit (which I think may have still a problem in 8.1(?)).
