Vegas 17 crashed, won't open, won't uninstall

I have been using Vegas 17 heavily all week. It started tripping over itself and crashing, then it wouldn't open. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times now because it wouldn't start. Presently, it won't open at all and I cannot uninstall it even with Revo uninstaller program. I am on a Dell Desktop using Win 11.

A Big Note for when you get it working again: When it starts "tripping all over itself," the first action should be to restore the program to factory defaults, Uninstall / Reinstall would be a last resort.

For uninstalling, if Revo won't do the trick, it often means your last uninstall routine messed up.

To get it back to a serviceable installation, the first thing to do is to restore Windows to a previous state where Vegas was installed, using a saved System Restore Point, or Disk Backup Image. Then uninstall Vegas using Revo.

Your last resort, the Full Uninstall Instructions are here, with the caveat that they are not for casual users or the registry impaired.

I finally got frustrated enough that I upgraded to 21. I hope that doesn't have the same problems, but will keep in mind what you have said here! Thank you!
