Vegas 17 Keeps Changing tracks without my input

The issue I am having is that whenever I open a project, vegas will always scroll to the bottom track. 30 Second Video here. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am on sony vegas pro 17 steam edition.

Try resetting VP settings? If that doesn't do it, see if you have any mouse controller software loaded that's sending out mouse wheel events constantly
