Vegas 17 keeps freezing while editing h265 files.

When I edit h.265 files Vegas pro sometimes just hangs, it's looking for a frame forever then stops responding. Sometimes it even shots off the GPU driver, the screens go black. When will they release a usable software? It really could be the best without freezing all the f*** time ....

FWIW I was having constant hanging while editing a pretty simple project with all iphone h.265 video. I updated my NIVIDA drivers to 436.48 (Game ready driver, released Oct 1 2019) and I made it through about 4 hours of editing without one problem. Before I was lucky if I got 20 minutes. Luck or solution?
