Vegas 19 Pro can not start without active internet connection

Hi,

i would like to know whether program Vegas 19 Pro (version 19.0, build 458) needs internet connection for every start. Program is succesfully registered and activated, but if the computer where is installed does not have access to internet, program cannot be started. No error message is displayed. If an internet connection is available, program will start without any problems.

One support page (link bellow) says that internet connection is needed only for activation.

Thanks for answer

This is an old post I know, but for me the permanent solution to this annoying problem was to uninstall 'Update Notifier' from Windows.

They put out a patch that fixed this problem, within hours after it appeared... see Dexcon's post above yours.
