Vegas 21 Can't Render Anything Suddenly

Anthony-Mendoza wrote on 7/27/2024, 11:47 PM

I've been using Vegas 21 for sometime without many issues until this big one. It's been frustrating me for hours.

I'm trying to render a 4-minute video and it simply freezes when I hit the 'RENDER' button. I've also attempted to render the most simplest things such as the checkered board, and still running into the same issue.

I've tried: Turning off GPU Acceleration, Updating My Drivers, Reseting the Cashe Application Data, Changing The Render Format, Uninstall and Re-Installing Sony Vegas, Restarting PC.

Any help would be appreciated before I just switch video editing software.

Did you try an official support request before giving up? This is a peer to peer forum.

What build of 21 is it?

Version 21.0 (Build 315)

Do either of the benchmarks in my signature work?

Can you render to the desktop rather than the OneDrive?

Have you installed any updates or plugins recently ?

Maybe it's not working because it's Sony Vegas? The last time Sony was involved was with Vegas 13, and we are on Vegas 22.... that makes it 9 years ago.

Let's see... you've stated you haven't had many issues (meaning you have, but never posted anything), and because of this one (yes, it is a show stopper for sure not being able to render) you'll "just switch video editing software", have you supplied the information in "B" and "C" from this POST? Your user profile is blank. It's there for a reason. Add your PC specs to your Signature. Saves asking repeated questions about it.

Did you hit up Support? By doing that, you will get the help and if this problem crops up again with another user, help will be available. Log into your Magix account and send the a support request.
