It's good that Sony has finally made an update but I wonder how long time we have to wait for the XDCam and MXF support...
If that is not fixed within three weeks then I have to choose another software (which I really don't want but maybe have to)...
Sorry Paul. I was thinking of someone else with the holiday. Anyway I'm off to download as I sleep this siesta cos it just got very hot up my mountain - 94F and climing.
6.0b seems to be working really well. I was one of the ones not really having problems with 6.0a, but I just looked at the "bug fix" list in the 6.0b read_me file and I would have had a couple of problems on a project I was about to start tomorrow, but the bugs were squashed today with the new version. Great timing!
Seriously... did anybody who's owned SoFo/Sony software for the past few years ever have *any* doubt that the Sony crew was going to pull through??
I wish other software companies would have as good a batting average as Sony when it comes to bug-fixes.
Thank you SO Much Sony Vegas guys! My Pyro AV is back up and working again - GREAT JOB!!! It's stuff like this that gives me even more confidence in using such a great product that is obviously slaved over by it's developers.
Nice Job guys AND before the discount period expires!
Guess I called that wrong. I really figured the first follow-up release would be a couple months after the original release. But sometimes I don't mind being wrong. ;-)
With all of the harsh criticism from so many... including myself....
It is only mature and very important to point out the good just as much as the bad. Sony's response time providing the update, and their hardwork are always much appreciated.
Great job guys.
I know we all point out bugs, or complain about features, workflow, things lacking etc... and often we dont thank you for your efforts and hard work on such a fine product.
Congratulations on getting 6.0b out well ahead of most people's expected release. Great work! I wonder how much coffee you programmers have drunk in the past 3 weeks.
I ran away from 6.0a after a late night spent trying to print to tape. I guess I'll dare to actually use 6.0b now. How exciting!
