That's a pity, but to give help we need to know more. Look here what you must tell us so we know with what hardware you work, the MediaInfo of your sourcefiles and your projectsettings at least: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/

If it might help, I found running the program "as administrator." solved all of my crash issues.

-Vegas pro 16 (build 352)

-windows 10 home

-the footage was downloaded from youtube, i have used a downloader site online. when i download it in 1080p 25fps there is no problem but since i want to edit it i need a higher frame rate to be able to slow down the clip without lag, so i have downloaded the video in 1080p 50fps with no sound(no sound because is the only way to get the video in 50fps)

-the video is going to be renderize as uncompressed because then i import the clip in after effects and do the visual effects

-the gpu is an nvidia geforce gtx 1050 Ti

-my pc has 16gb of ram

the problem is: when i try to import the videoclip in vegas there are 4 things that can happen, 1) i try to import the video from the explorer window and when i clic on it nothing happen, 2) i drag the clip directly from the folder to the timeline and everything freeze and vegas stop working then i have to close the program. 3) i drag the clip to vegas and instead of stop working, the program shuts down and a "reporting error" message pop up and it shows all the information i have put on the original post. 4) i drag the clip to the timeline but instead of a videoclip there is just a vertical line, when i try to zoom on it and go over it with the cursor nothing is showed on the preview, then usually after a few seconds of this condition vegas crash again

i have try to enable/disable the multi core playback but nothing has changed, i have tried to switch the gpu acceleration of video processing between "off" ,"intel corporation etc." and "nvidia corporation geforce gtx 1050 Ti" but again nothing has changed.

i have tried to give you all the information, if something is missing just ask me, thank you for your help.

p.s sorry for bad english.

I did not ask for MediaFire and also not arecording of one or another proces, I ask you to give the exact info about the used sourcefile(s), but if you don't get the simple link to the helpfiles on this forum than we can give no help at all.
But for now I gave it up trying to help.

@valte799 To clarify, when other user ask for your source media specs using Mediainfo, they want to examine the specifications of your source media to detect if the source media may be the problem. Mediainfo usually provides the specs they need. You can download Mediainfo (free) here: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo . Start Mediainfo and the first thing select the 'View' tab. From the drop down menu select 'Text' mode. Then select the 'File' tab and load your source media file. Take a screenshot of that displayed information and post it in your thread for others to examine. That may help you getting help from others.

I'm not aware of being able to download different frame rates from Youtube. When you download from Youtube you get the frame rate the video was posted as. If the 25 fps download you have works with NO issues and the 50 fps video you downloaded does not, seems to me there is something in the download process that Vegas doesn't like.

If the original is in 25 fps, and you want 50 fps for slow motion, you should do that slow motion in Vegas, ProDad ReSpeedr or Twixtor. I doubt any Youtube download program is capable of changing the frame rate of a download with any success, maybe I'm wrong.

after effects had no problem to read the file as 50fps. anyway thank you, i think vegas has a problem with this file so i rendered the video in uncompressed file using after effects and know is okay. what is the best codec to use for this operation, i mean is better to leave the codec to "none" or select "uncompressed" ?

I don't use OBS and not familiar with the options, others here may be and may jump in to answer your question. However, a little trial and error may be you friend.

I'm a long time OBS user ( after camstudio) and these are my always used OBS settings ( imortant things translated from Dutch) with very good results that works perfect with Vegas
All my screenvideo's made here on these forums as demo's are fine with 0,5 - max 40 MB and only used for upload to the forum.
