Vegas crashes when rendering frame +60

Every so often, while rendering a project, Vegas will crash when it gets to its 60th frame. This issue will persist until a reinstall of Vegas no matter what rendering settings I choose, after reinstall it'll render fine. This I find to be very strange because reinstalling doesn't change any of the user-specified settings. So, does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? It seems to happen almost at random.

Troubleshooting suggestions here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-stop-vegas-pro-hanging-or-crashing-during-rendering--104786/ Don't rule out overheating, which is covered in the post linked to from the 1st point in that post.
