(Vegas Edit 14) H265 audio not importing

Hello,

I have been trying to import some H265 files from handbrake but have noticed that vegas fails to import the audio (audio shows up but is completely silent).

The file extension .m4v usually refers to a file with only a video stream, although your MediaInfo obviously does show audio too. I don't know Handbrake well but normally an HEVC encode would be put into an MP4 or MKV file, with a .mp4 or .mkv extension (but note that Vegas won't open MKV). So maybe something is amiss with your Handbrake encoding settings.

Thank you, I have found a fix myself as in testing I discovered that Vegas appears to not like the combination of hevc and mp3 audio, so I remuxed the video with AAC audio which fixed the problem.
