Vegas Post used to cost $800. It's $600 now. VEGAS Pro is $400 now. I'm not sure about 365 prices, I'm just talking about the perpetual licenses.
Sound Forge is a $300 app... it doesn't exactly make much business sense to bundle a $300 app with a $400 NLE. That would harm sales of SF Pro.
As for VEGAS hub, it has tiers now based on which version of VEGAS you own. VEGAS post 365 gets 100GB, and unlimited access at full 4k resolution to all the clips in the media library as well as all the audio. The perks go down from there, Pro gets 50GB and 1080p access to the media library, and so on.

@janndk, to be clear, this Hub functionality was released as beta in VP18. Everyone knows the nature of a beta release means that things are likely to change in the final release. We released a beta feature and as a result of the beta cycle we made changes to the feature. Standard procedure. (And people wonder why we hesitate to do public betas...)
Regardless, we do recognize that beta users may have already exceeded the 50GB limit of the final release offering. Thus you are "grandfathered" and can keep what you've already used over the 50GB limit. If you're seeing any problems, please let us know.
As for SOUND FORGE, that's simply a matter of a product offering changing. You might not like the change, and for that I'm sorry. The price you post above is the upgrade price, so yes, SF Pro is a $300 product at retail.
Regardless of that, your SOUND FORGE Pro 365 subscription will keep working as long as you keep your VEGAS 365 subscription active. So you should be able to use SOUND FORGE Pro just as you always have along with any updated features as they come. If you experience a problem with that, again please let us know. This is the product offer you subscribed to.
If you let your VEGAS 365 subscription lapse and later decide to subscribe again, then in that case you will have lost your SOUND FORGE Pro subscription and would instead have a SOUND FORGE Audio Studio subscription. That is the difference between the old product offer and the new product offer. You can choose to accept the new product offer or not.
Only $20 cheaper than the app you expect them to bundle it with for free's upgrade price.
Just expecting what was promised when I bought the product/service.
Nobody promised that SFPro was going to be in every version of VEGAS moving forward. Your SF Pro subscription still works, as well. It doesn't make business sense to bundle a $300 sound editor with a $400 NLE... nobody will buy the $300 editor anymore, they'll just get the bundle, which will hurt profits in the end. People complained about VEGAS costing too much, and now that they have attempted to solve that, people are complaining that they don't get the same free stuff included. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
All I can tell you is no matter how it's decided with what the bundled offerings are, this rollout seems confusing? Take for instance, about 6-8 weeks ago I receive an email offering an upgrade to VP Post 18 + Free upgrade to Version 19 when it became available in August. So, I made the purchase @ $329.99? VPro Post was released ("made available") Wednesday 18th of August. I have yet to receive my Upgrade email with my serial number. But, people who show up on the day of release not only get it right away, but they pay $30 less. Why am I having to "wait" in this scenario?
It's more like, "damned if I do, and damned if I don't. I guess we are being penalized for the early upgrade?
@levijudah, it is an unfortunate delay on the delivery end that's causing you to not have received your email yet. No excuses, just my apology. I'm sorry. The email is coming, but it takes time to roll all of them out. This was handled poorly, and again, I'm sorry.
Still "waiting" on my upgrade authorization email, but it might interest you that I signed up for the "30 day Trial Version Offer" and guess what? . . . . I downloaded it . . . . right away!
@gary-rebholz; Thanks Gary, I'm just frustrated. Been a Vegas fan for 12 years now. Vegas Post has just blown me away with its composition possibilities in the new effects and image modules. I have been confident in the Vegas brand for a long time. I just need to be more patient with Magix. Haven't had much interaction with this group. I do really appreciate your team's hard work. Can't imagine what it takes to do what your people do.

I'm not asking for any "free stuff"! 😡 Until just a few days ago Vegas announced that Sound Forge Pro is an essential part of Vegas Pro. Now it's gone!
@janndk, I guess I haven't made myself clear above, so I'll try again. Your SOUND FORGE Pro is not gone. As long as you continue the subscription you signed up for previously, you will be able to use SOUND FORGE Pro as you were promised when you accepted the terms of the subscription. If you've found that SOUND FORGE Pro no longer works for you, there's a unexpected problem that we will be happy to work with you to solve.
So, is the SOUND FORGE Pro subscription you signed up for still working or not?

I saw your answer. That was a comment on fr0stys post about "free stuff".
@gary-rebholz, Thanks for your response. Main issue here is probably just unclear [and sometimes misleading] information. It might be a good idea to keep your marketing people on a shorter leash.

As I recall, Hub was announced as "coming soon" and highlighted as one of the new features in VP18. That it ended as a beta, is another story.

50GB should be enough for my needs.

When you buy an upgrade, then the price should be an upgrade price - or is there something I have misunderstood? Anyway - I'm a 365 subscriber, so the price is $0.88 higher than the upgrade price. According to Magix, it's $179.88 /year. (Not $300)
(Why is subscription more expensive than upgrade?)
About "product offering changing": just until a few days ago, Vegas stated that Sound Forge Pro is now an essential part of Vegas Pro. Not a product offer. Not a free extra. But a part of Vegas Pro!

Beside the issues with Sound Forge Pro (and a couple of other things), I have been very satisfied with Vegas Pro. So I expect to keep my subscription running.
@janndk, Thanks. Clearly we've had some hiccups with all of this and we're trying to settle into offerings that make sense. VEGAS Pro 19 has had a significant change with the introduction of the hub stuff. Much of the messaging was badly mishandled over the past year. The good news is that the marketing (both visible to customers and the inner workings) have undergone an even bigger transformation than the software itself. I believe that team is on the right track. I just wish we could have avoided some of these unforuntate potholes. We're working on it.

For what it's worth, I started a VEGAS Pro 365 subscription before the current VP 19 offering, and the Mobile Uploads window still says I have 100 GB of storage. Though, I haven't exactly tried using it all.

Thanks for comment. I think mine also still says 100GB - just want to be sure it's not getting halved in the future.
