Vegas LUT filter "File does not exist"

Former user wrote on 4/15/2018, 8:36 PM

When I apply LUT filter in the Video Event FX and browse for the LUT file I get the warning "The file specified does not exist". Although correct name and file path are both shown correctly. And the LUT is not applied.

What is the full path and filename? Maybe it dislikes some characters or spaces.

What happens if you put them in a different folder, or directly under D: drive?

Oi Nick,

When I put the LUT file in a folder on drive D: it works fine. But for the sake of organization I like to always leave it in the project folder. I also used Magic Bullet Looks to apply LUT files and it works well regardless of where the LUT files were, but it did not leave the colors faithful to the original LUT, which is why I stopped using it. I can live with this Vegas LUT problem, but if they can improve it, then why not do it better? I also noticed that the same problem occurs with the VisionColor Plugin. Luckily with these problems I was pleased to find today the FXHome Ignite LUT plugin that works super well and still has GPU acceleration.

I have my LUTs organized in a central LUT drive on D. Works fine here without such an error.
