Vegas play video while idle/stopped

Hello there.

I don't know if it's a bug or a tool that I didn't know yet, but I don't know how to solve.

I stop a video that I'm editing, pressing space or click on the stop button. Video keep playing even though I've stopped it. There is no sound, just video moving. I noticed that rate speed was also changing sometimes while it was occurring.

I created a new file and even without having a video added to the timeline, I could see time going on, like I was playing something, but I'm not.

 

Please help me to disable this situation.

No, it should stop. What version and build of VEGAS is it?

What is the media you are having problems with? Please share MediaInfo: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

Hello Roger, thanks for your support and patience.

Even without media was the same. A blank timeline was in the same way.

 

The problem was caused by the keyboard. The "right arrow" was crazy and working by itself. It was like a ghost taking control of the timeline in Vegas.

 

Problem solved.
