VEGAS Post 20 Upgrade From VEGAS Pro 18

MH7 wrote on 1/29/2023, 2:33 AM

I’m sorry if this question has been asked several times. My question is strongly hinted in the title of this thread and it is as follows:

  • Is it possible to upgrade from VEGAS Pro 18 to VEGAS Post 20 (i.e. not just from VEGAS Edit to VEGAS Edit or VEGAS Pro to VEGAS Pro or VEGAS Post to VEGAS Post; but to cross from one VEGAS software package to another)?

I am aware that VEGAS Pro is included in every software package of the software and that the different software packages — VEGAS Edit — VEGAS Pro — VEGAS Post — just include more or less features depending on the software package you chooses.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm nearly certain that the answer is yes, you can upgrade to any other suite of VEGAS Pro regardless of if you are coming from a cheaper suite or not.

If you select the package that you want to upgrade to, the upgrade process will ask you to log in to your MAGIX account. There, the process will automatically check your purchase history, establish upgrade eligibility and pricing, and then let you know of the result - and that process takes just seconds. You don't have to continue with the purchase if you don't want to.

@Dexcon | @Dexcon | Thanks guys. All that is said, when selecting the upgrade option and the software package you want, is the following:

You can upgrade at a reduced price with a previous version or other authorized product. Please have your login details or serial number ready.

I think it’s pretty much saying what you have said @Dexcon.
