Vegas Pro 11 - rendering 720-120p ?

Hello,

I have footage from an Iphone 6s in 720-240p. I would like to render in 720-120p.

I can set the project fps to 120, but it seems I cannot set the rendering fps to anything above 60.

Is there any rendering template that can be customized to 120fps?

=====

In detail the footage is 239.841 fps, and I´ve set the project to 119.98.

I can render to 59.94 fps, and with resample on I get 4 240fps frames blended into each 60 fps output frame.

What I would like to achieve is 59.94 fps with just 2 240 fps frames blended into each 60 fps frame, with two 240 fps frames dropped, thus simulating the cadence of 60 fps shot with a 180 degree shutter.

My idea to achieve this is to first render the 240p footage with resample on into 120p, and then import the resulting 120p file into Vegas and render it to 60p with resample off, which will drop every second frame, thus achieving a 60p with each frame containing two 240p frames blended.

BR,

David

I don't have an iPhone, but have you checked to see if the camera or an app on it will save the video to a lower frame rate? My Canon records at 240 fps but saves the video at 30p. .

To output 720p120 you can use MainConcept AVC.
Just type in 120 fps there.
