Vegas Pro 13 Animated Lower Third Chroma Keyer Transparency Issue

CascohTV wrote on 3/28/2020, 6:08 PM

Everytime I render this without Chroma Keyer it never works, ive used the "Animation" & the "PNG" option in the render settings with no luck. When I do use the keyer and then render, I import my .mov file into my clip & apply "Straight (unmatted)" the background it works. But the problem is when I then wanna drag my lower third to wherever on the screen there's a darker transparent background (1920x1080) on my clip making it clearly visible, any help?

Cut through all the green screen crap. Just nest your animation project on a track above you media in the final project.

Thanks for getting back @john_dennis by exactly what do you mean by that? By just dropping it on top of the project will cause the gameplay footage to be blocked.

Lower the transparency of the track the graphic is on.

I've tried that and that wouldnt accomplish anything tho.. the problem is the lower third not going 100% transparent

Thanks for taking the time to show the video but how does this solve the issue of the green screen? Everything I've tried doesent get rid of the background having a true png animation of my lower third?

Mute or delete the green bottom track in your animation project. When nested, Vegas has a transparent background. It's not black like it looks.

Muting the track with the lower third still give me the same problem although I can see it being a solution for some.. when going into the event pan/crop and move my animation I still get the issue of a darker (1920x1080) tint not making the video fully transparent for my gameplay videos.. I feel like im running out of options.
