If you place the timeline cursor over the source frame you want to copy, it should appear in the FX top window when you click "Preview" Now move the cursor to the event you want to change and again click "Preview" - the second pic should now appear in the lower FX window.

Problem is there is no "Preview" to click.
If I click "Screen" I get a square that does not click on the preview window.
Thanks

Not sure what you mean - is there no "Preview" box at all, or is it greyed out ?
Ross wrote on 11/23/2015, 12:51 PM
No it is not greyed out - it just does not exist. I have boxes for "Trimmer", "clipboard",
"File" and "Screen" but no box for "Preview". Perhaps I should contact Sony on this one.
Thanks

Can you take a screen shot of what you are seeing and post it here?

Does your screen look like this?

I think he is seeing this:

I just did a clean install of VP13 B453 and there is no preview button. That's strange, I can see the button in MV13P but not in VP13?

I'm running Vegas Pro 13 (453) on Windows 7 Professional.

I guess the preview can be had by hitting the "Copy Snapshot to Clipboard" icon after placing the cursor over the source and target locations.

It appears to be different, but it shouldn't prevent the show from going on.

That's exactly how it works. It's strange that the you are on the same build but with a different layout for this plug in. Did you upgrade from an earlier version and it didn't get updated? Mine is a complete new install with no previous VP versions.

I normally install each build of Vegas Pro on a gold image that has never had it installed, but this time I went to build 453 as an upgrade.

Old Smoke, I installed the VP13 b453 trial this morning. I've never had VP installed and the trial download was made yesterday. I do however, have SMS13P installed.

I have the Preview option in both Movie Studio and Vegas Pro, Sony Color Match plugin.

Not sure any of this helps!?!?!

My screen is not like yours john_dennis - above. It is like yours OldSmoke
I am using Windows 10 Professional 64 bit and installed VP13 b453 first as a trial then activated it.
I did try copying to the clipboard for one clip in the source then copying the current clip to the clipboard and that worked fine.
Also I found that if you use the screen button and drag it across the preview window of the source clip then drag it across the preview window of the target clip it also worked fine.
So yes it can be done - it looks like Sony has dropped the "Preview" window in the latest build - that is a shame as a "Preview" button would be easier.
Thanks for all the input
Ross

There's something strange here - I have the latest build, 453 in Windows 10 64 bit, and the Preview option is there in Color Match, both as media FX and as Event FX.
john_dennis wrote on 11/23/2015, 8:19 PM
I considered that the options presented may be context sensitive based on multiple monitors. I even added another monitor and moved the preview there, but could not change the options that I received.

It may be associated with Windows version. We need a larger sample to discern differences.
