Vegas Pro 13 visual error occurring with Playback preview & render

So I coming across this odd visual glitch in the playback preview, whilst using Vegas Pro 13 (Build 545). The issue I'm having is that preview is duplicating an "image" and I can't seem to find out what the cause of the Issue is. Here's a video footage of the issue I'm having: 

I've tried to cross out what exactly is causing it but I can't seem to pin-point the issue. I've tried closing Vegas Pro 13 and opening it again, but the issue is still present. I've also noticed that if I change the preview quality to "Draft", the issue disappears but any other quality setting for the preview, it's present.

Hardware set-up:
CPU: Intel I7-8700K
GPU: Nvidia GeforCe GTX 1080 TI
Windows 10.

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing it and what to do to fix it? And if I need to provide more info, I will.

As for the program I used to create my source media, it was GIMP. Made a PNG image and that was all.

Your image isn't very clear but it looks like you may have your project set on 59.94i instead of 59.94p.

Do you actually get the duplication on rendering and if so which render quality (good, best etc)?

I do get the duplication on rendering. And it's with the "Best (Full)" render quality setting. And going by the playback preview, it's possibly the same story with "Good" and "Preview". Only "Draft" works without the glitch.
 

Turning off GPU acceleration seems to cause it to go away but I'd like GPU Acceleration on, if possible

Try a different video driver.

Run a trial of Vegas 14, 15, 16 or 17. A lot of water has run under the bridge since Vegas Pro 13.

I changed the project properties to the picture above, and turned on GPU acceleration and the visual error occurred. Turned off the GPU Acceleration and it's gone.

I also try reverting my video driver to the previous version and same thing happens when I turn on GPU acceleration. I will try getting a demo of Pro 15 and see if it works any differently.
