hi, so i have this problem with vegas pro where the tabs don't show and not all the preferences show. fix?

Go to the menu "View" and choose Default lay-out.
Which Vegas version do you have?

Did Vegas ever work on this machine?

Have you tried to do a Vegas reset to factory defaults? Instructions here:

Log on to your account and download the last build of Vegas Pro 14. It was 270.

I just work from Project Media and rarely drag and drop, but have you tried the Vegas Explorer?

Running it as an admin breaks drag and drop from Windows Explorer.

@Camby112 Have you updated to the latest Vegas Pro 14 build 270 as suggested earlier by John Dennis, and have you tried a "Factory Reset" as also suggested by John. The latter sometimes fixes strange problems.

@Camby112: Were you using a cracked version of VP 14? That is a common symptom.
