Vegas Pro 14 Rendering Keeps Stopping

I got vegas pro 14 in a humble bundle almost a year ago now. At first it worked fine on my old pc but then out of no where when i tried to render it would always get up to a certain percent then stop. I had tried everything, including disabling gpu acceleration and making sure only the cpu is being used. None of these fixed my problem. I soon gave up as nothing on the internet solved it.(I used windows 7 on my old pc, cant remember the specs.). Recently i have just bought a whole new rig and it was a fresh start, wiping all of the data on my old hdd (i use an ssd now). I use windows 10 on this pc and the specs are as followed:

EVGA ftw3 1080ti 11gb vram

Intel 40 year anniversary edition i7 8086k cpu.

16gb of ram

ROG Maximus x Hero Motherboard.

2TB of ssd storage.

I thought that because it was a fresh pc perhaps the problem would go and it did... for the first few renders and now it has come back. I tried changing all the settings i.e turning of gpu acceleration as everyone on the internet says to do so and i have had no luck. The only things i can render are very simple cut edits. I cant render any of my vids which are only about 30 seconds long and have little to no visual effects. This has been very frustating as i really enjoy editing and i know my computer specs are not holding me back so i have no clue what to do but ask on here. Also thinking of buying the vegas pro 15 studio on humble bundle, does any one know if this could potentially fix my problem?? And does any one know how to stop my rendering from stopping at random percentages, without having to disable gpu acceleration as i have tried that.

Thank you.

Most of the time it's media problems that cause Vegas not to finish a render. It could be video card driver too .. but for now, let's see if media is the problem.

Narrow down the problem. Does the render stop at the same % of render? Can you create a project with media you know renders ok? Figure out a way to make sure it is NOT the media that's the problem.

Divide your project in half -- does that render? .. Cut it in half again, does that render ok? And so on until lights go on as to what on the timeline is causing the problem.
