why do i have such crappy sound, it is before and after rendering, the same come from nero 2018, that clip recorded by gopro10 work OK with VLC media player, .. i do have sony camcorder and there is no crap like this, nor from my samsung smartphone.

Gopro10 is new. Maybe vp15 cannot handle the files. Pass files through handbrake(free) and retest. Possible hevc in, avc out but still .mp4.
Download vp20 trial and try test gopro files. Whatever you do don't shell out $$$ without trial.

If you choose to use older versions of Vegas Pro with newer acquisition codecs, using Shutter Encoder to produce Apple ProRes is a good way to create easily edited video with trouble-free PCM audio.
