Hello everybody, this is my first time posting on this forum. Not that that matters, I'm just starting off with a friendly hello.
To get to my problem, now. I have just today purchased Vegas Pro 15 Suite. I have used Vegas back when it was owned by Sony and so I have experience editing with this software. However, I have ran into a problem that I have never run into before and I can not find a single forum post or video on how to fix this problem.
I am trying to edit an Omegle video for YouTube. This means I have 3 video tracks, one is the template/background, one is a video of me on Omegle and the other is the video of the stranger on Omegle. To fit the video of me and the other video of the stranger into the squares on the template/background, I have to use the Event Pan/Crop to mask out the unwanted section of the screen, which is easy to do and causes no problems. However, in order make it fit into the squares on the template/background, I have to use the Track Motion feature. I can size the videos down and get them to fit into the squares without a problem, but the problem arises when I use the Trim Start button or if I split the footage and then delete the unwanted footage. What will happen is when I use Trim Start or delete unwanted footage, the Track Motion will reset back to the default setting, causing my video footage to revert back to default size. I am puzzled and have absolutely no idea how to fix this. I plan on phoning MAGIX about this problem to hopefully find a solution if I can't find one here. Before the hassle of phoning though, I would be very grateful if somebody on this forum knows how to fix this issue!
