Vegas Pro 17 Crashes When I Delete Audio Track

Hi, the title says it all, I have a trial version of VP17 and if I delete a track with no audio in it the software crashes. I've tried clean boot, Windows updates, checked forums all evening and still no joy.

I've turned off the graphic card acceleration, turned off SO4 dll, tried every tip I can source.

I am using a combination of MOV (Canon 5DMK3) and MP4 (Canon R) footage which i have synced using Pluraleyes. Even syncing has caused repeated crashes.

My PC has an excellent spec, 64GB RAM, i79100, SSD for OS and edit disk.

Any ideas?

I won't be buying this 'upgrade' on the basis of this serious glitch, but hopefully, a fix can be found via this forum.

... and your video adapter is?

AMD Radeon Pro wx5100, though I disabled it temporarily to see if it causes the crashes, but it made no difference.

UPDATE: If I try and delete a video track, or if I copy a video track then attempt to 'undo' VP17 freezes and I have to force it to close/restart.
