VEGAS Pro 18 crashes when importing a 16 bit PNG sequence.

When I go to add a PNG sequence to a project in VEGAS 18, I can tell the program what is the Color Space and such. But the program crashes (with the Problem Description below) when it adds the sequence. How do I solve this???

I don't have a problem importing 16 bit PNG image sequence into Vegas Pro 18. That error 0xc0000005 is sometimes associated with a Windows Security exception.

Also check the naming scheme for your image sequence.

For further help with your problem, upload one of the actual png images to Drive or Dropbox, post the link here, and I will have a look at it.

The naming scheme is "EEVEE-Legacy.0001", "EEVEE-Legacy.0002", etc.

Extra info: When I try to take a single frame from the Explorer tab on VEGAS, this is the error:

Your file crashes Vegas Pro13-545 on my machine. Vegas Pro 21-315 works as expected. I transferred my Vegas 18 license to someone else.

Your png color space is GRAYSCALE. If you change it to RGB, it should work. I did that in Version 12 and it imported fine.

Changing the color space to RGB worked for me on Vegas 13, also.
