aboammar, Because of this continued price haggling / comparison, a thread was closed because of you. Specifically noted as a "MASSIVE endorsements of other NLEs".... We get the point, now please move on!

Well, this feels like a "ready for prime time" Ver. 17.

NOW, to those who dislike subscriptions, listen: Vegas gives you best of both worlds, IOW, you can rent and THEN buy, or you can rent for the three months leading up to the next yearly upgrade cycle, so you don't feel you "bought the damned thing twice." I feel your pain, I don't agree with your non strategic purchasing. NOW YOU KNOW.

So, without paying more, I'm getting the upgrade (I'm on 365) paying about 20/mo. and that means $240/year. About what the normal buy and upgrade person pays (a bit more, not much).

AND, I get the upgrade whether I'm ready with my upgrade cash or not.

AND I can switch over, easily, to the higher levels of the program

AND I can just decide to buy

AND subscriptions get new people more easily INTO the program and a better user base THUS more solid foundation for the company and better for everyone, WIN/WIN. Some of you non entrepreneurs don't really see past your own nose, the company does well, the program does well.

Downside? YES!! Can't use 365 on more than one machine. I'm damned unhappy about that. FIX THAT VEGAS!!

Anyway, KUDOS to Gary and team, yes, some of this is mere improvement to 17, but I'm damned happy about that. It is MUCH smoother, better playback, plays back out of the box, I love the cursor memory - upon opening cursor comes back to the point you saved/closed program, so nice. (Ok, it could have happened in Ver. 3, but I'm damned happy).

About ten more things, at least, I'm damned happy about. I'm one of those that want stability over bells and whistles. I think I got both, and I'm damned happy about that.

Did I mention: I'm damned happy ?

New graphics card drivers uploaded and also does not work

klapkowscy.com Those start up crashes does not look as if your Graphic card drivers are the problem. That seem to be the cause of something else.

klapkowscy.com Te awarie podczas uruchamiania nie wyglądają tak, sprawy rządowe sterowniki graficznej. To poznawać się w razie innego.

Vegas 17 runs normally and wonderfully without freezing and the 18 does not even start
