Is there anything else like an error code in addiiton nto 'an error occurred'? if yes, what extra information appears about the error? Perhaps screen dump (print screen) the sreen with the error message and upload it to this thread using the upload button when making a new comment - making sure that any personal details and/or serial number are removed/thoroughly obscured.

Also, please refer to this post and provide the requested information particularly about the Vegas Pro build (is it build 550?), Windows version and computer specifications, as well as any history about the issue such as how long you've been using this version of Vegas Pro, have there been problems in the past, any recent changes to your computer, etc.

+1, and it won't uninstall (uninstaller Can't access E:documents/). Searched site for everything that's worked for others on these forums too. Don't need a fast answer and won't risk a revo/manual uninstall just yet (maybe never if my preSubscription 2012 Pr. will reinstall on this new pc) so anyone knows if the next build (after 550) could fix this?

win10, 16.0 opens fine, installed Super critical apps after 19.0 so can't solve with windows recovery

@windmill  ... try resetting Vegas Pro back to its factory default settings via the process described in this post making sure that the checkbox is checked to clear the cache.

tried that first! (and took all the leftover 16. plugins out.. then All the plugins away. then put them back). Only step suggested here left to me is a 'scrub every last vegas trace away' manual uninstall, and reinstall - but it's such a serious step am holding off.. til middle of May this rate

Hello sorry for the late.

So I can't show you a screenshot of the bug report today but it's the common message like in the debut of this video

I can do the CTRL + SHIFT and doubleclick on the icon to do the resetting but it didn't fix the problem.

For info my PC spec :

CPU   12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K   3.60 GHz
GPU  Nvidia RTX 3070Ti

RAM 32,0 Go

I tried to re install it many times but nothing worked...

It's really strange and frustrating

Oh I retried to install it again but this time I didn't select the option Selection Library or what ever and surprisingly it worked !

Sorry for your time guys but thank you a lot !
