Vegas Pro 19 keeps crashing with "not responding" showing at top

top of window shows program name, file name and then "(not responding)". Program freezes intermittently in this way. At the moment, I cannot even get beyond saving and renaming a new project. Could somebody please help? Vegas pro 19 - using Windows 10 -

Same problem in Vegas 18 and 20, constant intermittent crashes while editing. Say in 10 minutes it will be crashing 4 times. For now we are saving after each edit but that is a real pain. We upgraded hoping it would get fixed but same problem.

Mark, what version of VP 19 is this? (final build 643 or a previous one? I had better luck with earlier ones myself like 550.)

Shawn, I'd start your own post as you're not using the same version of Vegas and problem seems different anyway.

Thanks for your replies, RogerS and Shawn Giese:) Yes, I have the 643 build. Could you kindly explain how I may revert to the previous build if this indeed works? I have tried Driver Update, but nothing happens. Software Updates simply says "No Updates Available". I had upgraded to v19 in the hope of fixing this problem, but in vain. Paid my money, but if anything, it's even worse now:( Your help would be gratefuly received:)
