What Fx are applied?

What render template are you using?

You can upload screenshots directly here, too.

Nothing Fancy really, basic color correction, MAGIX NVENC 4K for render.

Is this HDD a product from the 80s or 90s last century?

WD10EZEX, but even if I am using files from my SSD it doesn't change the fact that it's not using any GPU/CPU.

Hmm, everybody is using the highway!

Which one is your GPU/CPU?

There are three places in Vegas where you can use the GPU. Make sure they are all enabled.

Decode : Preferences - File I/O - Hardware Decoder - Nvdia

Process : Preferences - Video - GPU acceleration - Nvdia

Render : Render As - Magix AVC/AAC - Nvenc ; or Voukoder rendering plugin - Nvenc

==============

As for CPU, you can try increasing the vegas190.exe's process priority in the right click menu of Task Manager's Detail tab.

Intel i7 10700K
Nvidia RTX 3080.

They are the same as you've mentioned.
I'll try to give a higher priority but I don't think that would change anything.

@Eni Just out of curiosity what is the media you've got on the timeline?

There's a tool called MediaInfo, download it, it's free https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option, select all, copy & paste in a comment here,

Like this

@Eni & is it slow, not using GPU n CPU if you try rendering different media with no fx's added. or try rendering that project or a section of it with the fx's turned off, see how that goes & you can then maybe narrow down the reasons

VEGAS Enthusiasts from the site

are pretty naive & obstinate.

your computer's bottleneck could be that WD10EZEX, which, an OEM product with NO garantie for its performance, and thus, every other work must stop and wait to that writing procedure.
I saw only once in my PC that my NVMe-SSD so busy till to ca 80%, it's the finalizing of render to 4k60p-ProRes422 intermediate.
