Vegas Pro 20 Crashing with mp4 file.

I've just upgraded to version 20 of Vegas Pro from version 17.

I import an mp4 file and put my mouse pointer over the file to move it to a timeline and the program crashes.

This is the error message given.

Can you show here a screenshot of Options/Preferences/File I/O?
BTW you are able to upload and show pictures and video by clicking this button

Does unchecking Legacy HEVC make a difference?

Try also how it goes with in FileI/O legacy HEVC unchecked>
Also I like to know what the CPU of your used computer is
