@BRIAN-Gregory Please don't make multiple posts on the same problem. I've hidden your other thread and posts elsewhere. Continue in this thread and let us know how you get on.

I only made two-and that was because I wasn't sure how to post a comment without it being off-topic. I will know in future.

Try reinstalling it.

Thanks, I reinstalled and it seems to be working now. But, I don't want that to happen again as I had taken an afternoon off work to finish a project and it was wasted. Any ideas why it happened? I hope it's not a regular fault. I think it said-''Error 59'' and ''You have no authority'' (or something similar). Thanks again.

It shouldn't happen again and if it does just reinstall.

I think it said-''Error 59'' and ''You have no authority'' (or something similar).

From the Vegas Support webpages re error 59: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/article/troubleshooting-error-59-16xx-and-account-already-exists--537/

In order to  eliminate one or more of the issues mentioned above, please apply the following steps.
Please uninstall the software using the Control Panel:

Find your program and proceed with the uninstallation process.

Please delete the remaining program folders under the following paths:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\[Software_Name]
C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\[Software_Name]

Should you not be able to see the "AppData" folder, you will have to change the respective setting.
To do so, go to "Folder options" in the Control Panel and activate the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" under "View"/ "Hidden files and folders".

Then reinstall the program using the download version.
You can find the installer in your Service Center account at www.magix.com.

Start the program after successful installation.
If the activation dialog does not appear at the first program start, select Help > Register Online.

Hi, it is working but every single time I now start Vegas, it asks for the product code for licensing, then once that's done it loads as normal.

It shouldn't. Search the forum and you should find a few threads on the same problem and hopefully a solution that works for you.
