everything is up to date ita a new computer omen to be exact and it was working yesterday when i could drag vids and be able to edit them. right now i cant do that and i already downloaded lots of programs that the links say and they dont do anything also of how the links tell me to get to stuff is outdated i have to go a different way in oirder to get to the gpu and such. im just frustrated coz i payed good money for this for it not to work or have to get 3rd party stuff for it to function properly

@ Eduardo-Gomez,

Are you aware that you have not even told us, what kind of footage you use?? What camera was used? Can you post here what medidata shows about this footage?

Nobody can help you without such informations!

yeah im aware i had to cool down and re read the comments. i managed to fix it sort of i was using a different recording device (obs) and that's y i couldn't edit the vids. the links really didn't help me as they were impossible to follow on this pc everything is different and following even the vids step by step i would get lost since it wasn't exactly or even close to where it was on the vid, anyway thank you so much for ur time! all i did was re record the vids on a different system and it worked!

I think you could have written your exact CPU and GPU model, MediaInfo for the video and told us what settings you had in preferences/ file io for example. If you have future issues start with this info and you will get more useful replies.
