Well, the program works perfectly for me with the Vegas Pro 21 (208) version. I can edit for hours and nothing bad happens. The problem comes when I install the new updates (300 and 314)
When I use the latest updates, after 5 or 10 minutes editing (simple video, no effects or anything, just cuts) the program crashes and I have to close it.
Does this happen to anyone else?
My components:
Ryzen 7 5700g
MSI RTX 3080 12gb
32 GB of ram at 3200 MHz (8 GB x 4)
M2 250gb
Several 1TB SSD drives

Also on timeline or Project Media right click for Properties and in the General tab what is the Plug-in used?
Lastly presumably if you have to shut down VP it is actually freezing, not crashing?

Regarding the format, it is MP4 Type AVC

Try selecting Options > Preferences > File I/O > Enable legacy AVC decoding then restarting.
You could try changing the Hardware Decoder To Use setting on the same page.

The encryption was already active. I tried the rest and it still happens.
