It sounds crazy to me even typing this, but Vegas can no longer reliably play 420 8bit AVC intraframe video with an Nvidia GPU and wipes like you describe are often all-I intraframe because they are video editor friendly. The result can be playback of black, or flickering black frames. The timeline can display correctly or alternatively only shows a single frame at the beginning of the clip.
Need to provide more information about the file to see if it's related to ALL-I AVC problem.
initial release worked fine with those files, latest release does not
As I stated above, Vegas 20 works fine with same files
21 latest release broke all that
thanks

@Jose M. Estrada Hi, what do you hope will come of this thread? You seem reluctant to share much, all we know is you've got a file 'mov files' & you say it's a 'Pro-Res 4444' that doesn't work in VP21 but it does in VP20.
You have to share the information @mark-y asked for in the links provided otherwise no one can help you.
Gid, as stated before, ProRes 4444 in a .mov wrapper
Vegas 21 v.108 works fine with those files
Vegas 21 v.187 and v.208 "sees" same files as Media Offline
Update 187/208 broke compatibility with such media
Maybe Devs can take a look at it
Thanks for your help

@Jose M. Estrada You've just repeated the very little info you've already given in earlier comments, Devs can't take a look at it because there's nothing to work with. 🤷♂️
Here's a couple of ProRes444 in a .mov wrapper working fine in VP21
