Vegas pro 21 build 300 . xavc-i not loading / taking forever / jitter

Hi , Just updated to the latest build 300 on Vegas 21. on windows 10 pc 64bit 64meg ram

none of my existing project veg files will now load ... all get stuck at 25% , 37% or thereabouts loading.

I narrowed it down to my SONY PMW-X200 footage as i use Sony ex-1 Sony ex-3 Sony pmw x300 and gopro 9s.

The X200 is Shot at XAVC-I 1080/25p 100mbps ex-fat file system .

my clips are 20mins plus long as i'm filming a passing out parade.

I tried to get the properties from within Vegas , but right clicking the file in the project file list gives me a spinning wheel and after a few minutes the screen flickers and then no shortcut menu.

on very short clips <1minute , the footage plays but is jittery .

 

Xavc would run seamlessly before the upgrade .

Any fixes yet ?

seems that there are other comments about xavc files having issues too.

Could you provide a sample copy via a file shared of media that is causing this problem?

interestingly , ive tried a clean build on a laptop that has never had any vegas product on it , and i do not experience the jitter as i do on my editing machine. it was notable when the family walk across the screen , it jumps to another part of the footage

I also don't see any problem playing that file.
I think you need to reset Vegas 21 on your other PC
