Vegas Pro 22 vs Vegas Pro 23

Hi
I have used vegas pro 22 and rendered with quicktime 7 a png file 100x100 pix partially transparent to get a .mov that I then converted to, gif with transparent background.
BUT I can't do the same with Vegas Pro 23 Build 356!
No matter how I try with Prores it doesn't work. The smallest with is always 720, if I specify less than 720 it jumps back to 720!
AND if I render 720x720 .mov I can't set properties on the rendered mov file Alpha channel to Straight (unmatted)
It worked perfectly in vegas pro 22.

What am I doing wrong???

I thought that ver 23 would be a development for the better compared to ver 22.

You can't continue to use a PNG workflow?

Not sure if ProRes has a minimum resolution.

  • Keep an old copy of Vegas Pro for that kind of activity is you must.

I couldn't get 100x100 pixel dimensions from Pro Res 4444XQ in Vegas 23-302.
