Vegas Pro with video glitches

My Vegas Pro has serious health problems, when I edit a video with bitrates of 886 kbps, when editing, the video freezes in a kind of glitch where the video keeps repeating randomly in small frames. I used a Reels video from Instagram and I would like to remix it, but I face this problem, what could it be?

Could be a corrupt file. Try to save/record the video again.

Your issue is from how the instagram reel was downloaded and saved. Most times whenever i'm grabbing reels etc from social media for editing, i simply just re-encode it (using shuttle encoder) to iron out the many flaws they normally comes with, (that's my recommendation).

Waiting for the OP to even mention what their computer specs are, and what version of Vegas they are using. And then, even how they capture the reels.

I suggest that @Jhonas-Prates provide the necessary information in "B" and "C" from this POST if they really want help. Blaming Vegas Pro for what could be user error in obtaining the file, and/or their computer build and software, doesn't help in coming to a solution.

But I do agree with @Steve_Rhoden and @fr0sty that it could be file related.
