Vegas Quick Blur FX

I'm having a frustrating time with this FX. Whatever value I select the blurring appears to be the same. Then I remembered this thread in Vegas Pro

Presumably it's the same bug in MS as in Pro. Does that mean when it gets fixed in Pro it will automatically get fixed in MS?

I'm MS14 Plat Build 148.

I know there have been efforts to unify more of the code base of VP and VMS, to make future development and management simpler, so I would hope so!
