Vegas Stream: How to remove

diverG wrote on 10/26/2021, 1:26 PM

Have recently had a need to clean reinstall VP19. Picked up the installer from Magix 'my products'. After re-installing Ifind Vegas Streaming icon on desktop. This appears to be a NewBlue product. Have once again un installed VP19 but Vegas Streaming remains operative. How do I clean it out and avoid reinstalling with VP19. In the install list there is no check box to install Vegas Stream soto me it appears as an unwanted extra. It is certainly part of VP19 as Vegas stream will not function if VP19 is not activated.

Thanks

Just looking at VP19 module list. Looks like I checked Vegas Stream.. This program lives in Program Files/NewblueFX\Vegas Stream. There is no uninstall.exe or similar. Had uninstalled VP19 via Revo uninstaller.

Maybe NewBlue should answer this one.

Easy solution. Macruim to the rescue > sys image 14 days old. 10 minutes max.

Have posed problem directly with NB. Will post ans to help other members. Thanks

Edit(211027) Correct method is via Program files/NewblueFX/ uninstallers. Big thanks to Seth @ NB.

The obvious route Start>Newblue>Vegas Stream (R Click) >uninstall opens the Control Panel programs & features is a dead end.

Go to "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features"
Or copy this link in your windows exlorer:

You will foud the string: NewBlue Vegas Sream, then Unsinstall.

You have to uninstall Stream separately. Go to C:\Program Files\NewBlueFX\uninstallers and run the VEGAS Stream uninstaller.
