VegasPro 12 build 770 crashing on render as

anybody still running 12, is it crashing when you select render as?

I still have Vegas Pro 12 (770) on two machines (just for these types of issues) and both work fine.

Would you like to share more about your project, hardware, drivers and such?

Not project related, every project crashes even color bars.
win7 64
k4000 quadro NVIDIA 347.88

As I said I click "Render As" the dialog box comes up just as Vegas crashes. So I feel like it something to do with the media encoder, but I can start a encode to see.

There used to be a uninstall/cleaning tool way back around ver 5 or 6 any such tool now days?

I ran Version 4 and 8. I would think the Windows uninstaller and a reinstall of Vegas might help. I don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out things like that as I image my system frequently.

It's Wednesday. Did you get some Windows maintenance on Patch Tuesday?

Updates came down last week and I hadn't opened Vegas in a month, I have thought that a MS update caused the problem but .... who knows. I'm going to use Revo uninstaller to clean as best I can and try again.

LOL already had to contact tech to get a re-up on activations.... errr not my week.
Even my Adobe CC has also flaked out and would not update to 2015, but they(adobe) know they screw the pooch on their last update of CC desktop. finger crossed :)
