I've recently upgraded to Pro 18 from Studio Platinum16. The problem I'm having is that after rendering to MP4, the resultant files freeze during playback. That is to say, using VLC media player, the video keeps playing in that the progress bar continues to scroll, but the screen and audio both freeze for a period of time, then playback resumes as normal and continues through to the end of the file. I've tried numerous settings and get slightly different results but none cure the problem. MP4s that were created using Studio platinum continue to play back just fine. The latest render plays from time 0:00 to 1:03, then it freezes until time 1:32 after which it plays fine until the end at 18:49. I've tried using Magix AVC/AAC MP4, Sony AVC/MVC, and Magix HEVC/AAC MP4. The latter renders much faster but the problem persists. The freezing happens on a simple clip which is just me talking to the camera. No effects applied other than a simple fade in at the very start of the clip.
To be clear, I have NO problems previewing the file or playing it through from the time line. No stuttering, no pauses, nothing. It's just the rendered version which has the problems.

I've tried various other rendering settings. I never had this problem with Studio10 - it's just since I changed to Pro18.
Oh, and I'm a 67 year old retired mechanical engineer - self taught in all things IT related so please be gentle with me.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
