Downloaded Vegas Pro Suite 22 two days ago. PC hardware is I 7 processor and 16 GB ram with Windows 10. All programs installed on a 237GB SSD hard drive

My video clips in m2ts or AVCD format cannot be dragged from explorer file on second monitor into the project or timeline window.

How ever it can be done using File Import Media but takes long and does not show the thumbnail only the clip number and the audio waves in the project and timeline windows. When playing from the timeline it does not show the video or thumbnails in the preview window but only playing the audio showing in the audio level meter. The program sometimes gives a warning "not responding" in the top left corner. Vegas Pro 13 was installed years ago and still works perfectly.
