Every time I try and add an effect to a video clip, it doesn't show up in the preview window until I close the window. I've looked around the internet before posting, and every post said to check to see if split screen view is on, and if FX Bypass is on, and both are off. I also tried closing and reopening Vegas, running it in administrator mode, and restarting the whole computer. Nothing, I searched around for my exact problem and those are the only solutions I found. I also took a look at my general settings under the tabs on the toolbar and such, yet I couldn't find anything different than my normal settings which didn't change when this started happening. This only started happening recently. like one moment it was working and out of nowhere in the same session this started. Maybe I pushed something on my keyboard on accident thinking I was in the text window but I clicked out to fix something on the timeline and forgot to click back or something. This makes editing really hard, when I don't know how much of certain effect I'm using until I close out of the window.
