Ni idea, but here 4K HEVC GOPro files and Samsung Galaxy files are playing and editing very well.
Can you specify your type of sourcefiles here with the help of MediaInfo following this https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

But this does not seem to be your situation in that Vegas Pro clearly opens so that you can import media onto the timeline. I have no error code 24 problems importing media from my GoPro Hero Black 11 (4K HEVC) and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in 4K into Vegas Pro 20 or 21.

But you haven't provided any information about the Vegas Pro version/build that you are using or your computer specifications. Sorry, false alarm. All videos from GoPro & Samsung Ultra are imported without problems. The mistake was on me. Problem was in my e-mail address on registrated software. All is good, now.
