Video Preview not working after latest build update

Hi Everyone. I am having a similar issue with video preview. Previously I did not have this issue but after the latest update, it arrived. My preview screen freezes and only makes changes when I close the window and reopen it with Alt +4. Can someone help? It continues to freeze unceasingly. Windows 11, intel inside i7, NVidia GeForce (latest driver) The scopes , graphs and other monitors work in real time, but the preview video doesn't. When I close the preview window I see the change in the frame, then I have to open another video preview again to see the next frame. This never happened before until the latest build.

Sorry about that. Just simply then roll back to your previous build that you were ok with.

You uninstalled Vegas Pro and reinstalled the previous build and it still doesn't work?

Starting to think there may be another factor beyond Vegas. You're using the same media as before? Consider a full reset of the program too. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

I'm having this same issue since the latest Vegas Pro 20 update came out. I haven't been able to pinpoint what's making the video preview stop working but there's clearly a problem here. I've been using Vegas Pro forever, previously with version 18 and never, ever had this problem.

My GPU is AMD and using the latest Pro (not gaming) drivers and GPU rendering in preferences is disabled. To recover from the frozen preview screen, I have to reboot my PC. Quitting and restarting Vegas does not fix it. While troubleshooting problems with the latest update (date issue) I uninstalled, reinstalled and reset factory defaults.

Here's what Vegas reports about my system:

Please create a new thread as your AMD system has nothing in common with the original poster's system. Please include details about the problem and what happens before it occurs. What do you mean by "GPU rendering"?

click Options > Preferences > Video tab, then turn “GPU acceleration of video processing” to off, and set “dynamic RAM preview” to 0, click apply and OK.
