@Mike-Doyle Could you provide some infos about your gpu?

Maybe, your problem is related to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/stabilizer-mirror-clamp-repeat-stopped-working--114566/#ca708715

If so, you can try change your preview quality to 'Preview' or change the stabilizer's border fill option to 'Clamp'.

Hello Sebastian, I have a single GeForce GX580 graphics card with the latest drivers here is the scpe re the system;

Operating System:    Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
DirectX version:    12.0
GPU processor:        GeForce GTX 580
Driver version:        391.35
Direct3D API version:    11.2
Direct3D feature level:    11_0
CUDA Cores:        512
Core clock:        783 MHz
Shader clock:        1566 MHz
Memory data rate:    4020 MHz
Memory interface:    384-bit
Memory bandwidth:    192.96 GB/s
Total available graphics memory:    11247 MB
Dedicated video memory:    3072 MB GDDR5

Coupled with this Vegas Pro 16 now seems much more delicate and crashes quite often when processing and rendering!

Thank you

Incidentally I am not averse to changing the graphics card if that is the sole or major issue so any advice on the best or most stable cards would be welcome

We are not really able to give you an advice which graphic card is the best... but your card is a little bit old and slow. The minimum would be the Nvidea 9xx we are supporting. My developer PC is using a NVidea 1070 GTX (+Intel UHD 630 onboard) and I never had any problems with that card (or bigger/newer).

Nevertheless, we will bring a fix in the next update. Hope it works for you. Best wishes from the VEGAS team and have a nice weekend.
