Hello !
First time posting, I hope I did everything right.
I am losing my mind.
I started editing rushes taken from a GoPro Hero 10 Black on Movie Studio Platinum 15.0. Everything was fine, everything worked, no problem.
I then took the project file and upgraded it to Movie Studio Platinum 17.0 (build 223), as I did plenty of times for other projects without any issues, expecting it would go smoothly this time as well. However, upon opening, movie studio is asking me to find the videos for it because the medias are disconnected.
I do not have the option to tell the software "specify the file and replacement folder".
I tried to specify the replacement files one by one, but then I get an error message stating that "an error occured during the media opening and that the app doesn't support this type of media" (approximate translation). The same error message occurs when I try to replace the media through Movie Studio- and when I drag and drop some videos, either nothing happens, or I get a stop sign as a cursor.
Other videos, from a GoPro Silver 7, work perfectly fine on this same project (their specs are further down the post).
I cannot for the life of me understand why those videos work in Movie Studio Platinum 15.0 but not 17.0. Here are my computer specs :
Operating System Windows 10 Famille 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 @ 3.20GHz Coffee Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0 Go Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1330MHz (19-19-19-43) Motherboard Dell Inc. 0DF42J (U3E1) Graphics C27F390 (1920x1080@60Hz) Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Dell) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Dell) SLI Disabled
Here is the MediaInfo of one of the faulty videos (taken with a GoPro Hero Black 10) :

I tried uninstalling Movie Studio 17, resetting it with shift+ctrl+click, made sure I had enough disk space, updated my graphics card, my PC, tried an older version of Quicktime, uninstalled/reinstalled Quicktime, enabled/disabled legacy functions, installed the GoPro quick app, hoping it would add a codec or something, nothing worked.
I tried everything I could think of and find on the internet, and yet I'm still stuck, I feel like I'm missing something.
Other videos, from another GoPro (7 silver), work perfectly. Here are their MediaInfo, if that helps :

I did try to look into that compoundplug, but nothing useful came up.
I'd really rather not having to convert each and every single one of my videos, but if it came down to this, what would be the best settings to not lose any quality in Handbrake ?
Please help, I feel really dumb and frustrated.
I'm sorry for the length of that post, I wanted to be as clear as possible.
Thank you !
